Benefits |
|
|
| Large,
superior quality speaker means you hear the
bass frequencies of the human voice, requiring less effort to listen and
understand. Other cheaper speaker phone attachments are quite small and
therefore the speaker cannot generate the natural lower frequencies of the
human voice, especially those of men. Built-in speaker phones incorporated
into cell phones are particularly susceptible to tinny, unnatural voice
reproduction. As phones get smaller, the speaker must be smaller too and
cannot produce natural sound. These alternative devices simply aren’t usable
for sustained conversations. |
|
|
|
| Compact size
fits in your shirt pocket and can be used for a hands free calling while
driving. Other speaker phone attachments that physically connect to the
phone itself don’t offer a practical solution for use while driving. Your
shirt pocket keeps the microphone closer to your mouth, and the speaker
closer to your ear than visor mounted alternatives. |

|
|
| Amazing
battery life! UbiquiChat runs for over 100
hours on three AAA batteries. That’s more than six months at 30 minutes of
use per day! Unlike other speaker phone attachments, UbiquiChat does not
drain any power from the cell phone’s battery. Don’t worry about your
phone’s battery life, your cell phone lasts just as long using UbiquiChat as
it would normally. |
|
|
|
| No on/off
switch! UbiquiChat automatically turns on and
off with a signal from the phone. Never drain your batteries by mistake
again! |
|
|
|
| Highly
sensitive, expensive, electret microphone
provides omni-directional pickup of voices (from any direction). This allows
3-5 users to talk comfortably with UbiquiChat. Cheaper speaker phones
without UbiquiChat's sophisticated background noise filter often use
unidirectional microphones (which pick up sound from just one direction to
minimize background noise) and are really only useful for one person, not a
group. |
|
|
|
| Your voice is
analog, not digital. UbiquiChat uses a patented
analog filtering circuit to reduce background noise and only transmit
natural human voice, not the background noise. Digital filters are not
successful when background noise varies (radio, car and traffic noise,
discussions nearby) because digital techniques only work when the background
noise is constant. Digital filtering techniques degrade catastrophically
with variable or unpredictable background noise levels. Digital filtering
also requires more expensive micro-processors and is very power hungry. |
|
|
|
| Automatic
microphone sensitivity adjustment. Cheaper
speakerphone devices have the microphone set at a fixed sensitivity.
UbiquiChat automatically adjusts the sensitivity up or down depending on the
output of the speaker, providing more lifelike voice, and eliminating
feedback. |
|
|
|
| Superior
components and design delivers superior voice
quality which means you will use UbiquiChat and not toss it in a drawer.
